Avocado Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Makes 10 small serves
139 calories | 8 grams sugar
3 grams fibre | 21mg calcium
Ingredients
2 avocados
100g dark chocolate
¼ cup cacao
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup coconut milk/milk alternative
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Garnish of your choice including berries, coconut, mint, grated chocolate, nuts and seeds.
Method
1. Melt chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler.
2. Cut avocados and scoop out flesh into a blender.
3. Measure out all other ingredients into the blender including the melted chocolate.
4. Blend until smooth.
5. Add your choice of garnish.
